Rivers Kids

Hi everyone!

My name is Steph and I am the Children’s and Youth Leader here at Rivers Community Church Llandeilo.

Some fun facts about me:

• I’m a mum of two and I’ve got a dog called Meg

• I LOVE going on adventures and exploring new places

• My kids would describe me as funny and as someone who talks too much (sometimes)!

I’ve been a youth leader for the last four years and, prior to this, I worked as a support youth leader. You may wonder why I chose to work with kids – well, it’s what God has called me to do and I LOVE it! I feel blessed after every session.

My main aim is to get the kids to love God AND have as much fun as possible, but at the same time, to show them that church is FUN. It’s that simple!

It’s great to learn the stories of the Bible but, at the same time, I feel strongly that we need to teach the kids that God is in everyday situations and the things that we go through.

I love hearing the kids’ ideas and letting them tell me what they would like to know more about.

We would love to welcome you on a Sunday evening at 5pm. Only kids allowed though (sorry adults!)
